Naya Rivera’s family speaks out for the first time since her death

As the world experiences the deplorable loss of Naya Rivera, her relatives have ended their quietness and offered thanks for the help they have gotten during this season of distress. 

In the official proclamation discharged to Deadline, the Glee star's family expressed gratitude toward the world for 'the overflowing of adoration' as they grieve the loss of their 'lovely legend.' 

"We are so appreciative for the overflowing of adoration and petitions for Naya, Josey and our family over the previous week. While we lament the loss of our lovely legend, we are honored to respect her never-ending heritage and attractive soul. Naya was an astonishing ability, however was a considerably more prominent individual, mother, girl and sister," read the announcement. 

"Much obliged to you to the people of the Ventura, Tulare, and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Departments for your dedication and immovable exertion to discover Naya," it further said.

This denoted the first run through her family stood up openly since the entertainer previously vanished a week ago from Lake Piru in California. 

Rivera, 33, was articulated dead on Tuesday after her body was found at Lake Piru where she vanished a week ago on Wednesday after a vessel ride with her child, Josey, 4.
