SC excuses SHC stay request, permits government to make a move against sugar factories.








ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday excused the stay request gave by the Sindh High Court and permitted the national government to make a move against sugar plants blamed for raising the cost of sugar to make illicit benefits. 

The peak court in its request expressed that the administration should make a move as indicated by the law and guided it not to make any pointless move against the sugar factory proprietors. 

The top court likewise coordinated the Islamabad and Sindh High Courts to pass a decision on the supplication recorded by the sugar plants inside three weeks. The court additionally banished the administration authorities from offering expressions on the sugar commission report.
