HEC asked to return to strategy on MA (private) affirmation
PESHAWAR: Gomal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmad has recommended to the Higher Education Commission Pakistan to return to its approach of finishing MA (private) affirmations in the colleges.
He was communicating his perspectives at a discussion coordinated by Pakistan Academy of Sciences on the subject of "Developing Shadows of Uncertainty in Higher Education Sector of Pakistan".
Academicians from everywhere the nation partook in the discussion to examine the new approach presented by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan.
During his first talk subsequent to turning out to be individual at PAS, while conversing with the members, Vice-Chancellor of the Gomal University Dr Iftikhar Ahmad said that HEC set up in 2002, worked productively under the chairmanship of Dr Atta-Ur-Rahman and others throughout the long term.
He said rules and guidelines made over time have been presented after the assent of the varsities as Section 10 (c) of the statute ties HEC to present new approaches after discussion with the bad habit chancellors of the colleges.
At a time where varsities are confronted with monetary issues and are thinking that its hard to support, these new guidelines of the HEC will bring about only hurt these colleges, he said.
